Welcome to the St. Padre Pio #3013 Sons & Daughters of Italy website!
We are the proud members of the Italian community of the greater Springfield, Massachusetts area.
Our Mission: "As Italian Americans, we are proud and grateful to inherit cherished traditions brought from our homeland to these shores by our beloved ancestors. It is our privilege and duty to preserve and cultivate these values to ensure our destiny to thrive as an authentic Italian community."
Cabrini Movie Showing
Join the Springfield Sons & Daughters of Italy for a free showing of the new blockbuster movie "Cabrini" about the first American saint to be canonized.
This movie digs deeps into the Italian immigrant experience that many of our ancestors dealt with- from discrimination, loneliness, and abandonment. This is a great movie for the whole family.
We will show the movie on Saturday, June 8th at 6:00PM. The movie is free and will be held at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center, next to the church on 123 William Street in Springfield. Donations will be accpeted.
Our new Italian youth group will be selling popcorn, soda, and candy.
Friday Night at the Opera
Join us on Friday, June 21st at 6:30PM for a showing of Ruggero Leoncavallo's Italian opera, "Pagliacci."
The showing is free and will be held at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Center, next to the church on 123 William Street in Springfield.

Our second annual Italian Gala will take place on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at the Sheraton Grand Ballroom in Springfield, MA. Tickets, sponsorship, and more information will be available soon!

Not only can you join the Sons & Daughters of Italy in Springfield, but you can give the gift of a year membership for a family member or friend. Simply fill out the application for that person, then send us an email telling us it is a gift. We will send you a letter to give that special person this Christmas.
